Xplorie is a leading guest experience solution for lodging providers, offering complimentary activity programs together with the industry’s first voice-enabled concierge technology, XEVA. Led by its CEO and host of podcast GuestX, Matthew Loney, the company’s mission is to enable short-term rental and hotel property managers to leverage local tours and attractions to better attract and retain guests and homeowners, while also reducing operational overheads.


The Challenge

Abode Worldwide was originally approached by Xplorie to help bolster the growth of SmartHost (formally known as XEVA), the virtual concierge device. In tandem with this was the goal to communicate the benefits of Xplorie to its industry peers, to support its expansion into new sectors and markets. Through the joint efforts of public relations, content, and social media, Abode Worldwide set out to reach B2B audiences in the short-term rental, hospitality and hotel industries, leaning on our expansive network of media relationships and industry knowledge.

Our Solution

Abode Worldwide placed strategic interviews and opinion articles with Matthew Loney in Hospitality Technology, ShortTermRentalz, and industry podcasts, as well as securing a speaking opportunity at the Short Stay Summit 2022 and two award nominations. We communicated Xplorie’s exciting growth period by announcing two new strategic hires to the company. Our inbound content program drove awareness of both sides of Xplorie, highlighting topical industry trends and answering key questions potential partners and customers might have before conversion.
