Founded in 2017 by former Flipkey founder Jeremy Gall, the company has carved an enviable reputation in the industry as a ‘must have’ tool for professional hosts and property managers in order to automate, simplify and improve their operational processes for the benefit of their guests, owners and bottom line. To date, Breezeway’s software and mobile apps have facilitated over 12M property tasks, and continue to help thousands of rental operators and hospitality professionals meet detailed service standards.

The Challenge

Abode Worldwide has been working closely with the team at Breezeway since October 2020. Breezeway came to Abode with a strong existing reputation in the vacation rental industry, as the leading property care and operations software. Their aim was to sustain the company’s status as true thought leaders in the space, helping to resource property managers (particularly during the pandemic) and drive further brand affinity. Their ongoing ambition is to be the recognized leader in vacation rental property operations for professional operators, whether they work with thousands of homes or just one unit.

With these goals in mind, we developed and implemented a public relations strategy that has built on their existing brand recognition. We set about strengthening the company’s reputation as a marketplace leader in operational and property care technology through media relations, speaking engagements, award recognition and thought leadership.

Our Solution

We’re proud to have supported the team on multiple successful campaigns. ELEVATE Property Operations Summit 2021, 2022 and 2023 – the only vacation-rental event dedicated to back-of-house property operations – hosted more than 1,000 industry attendees and 60 speakers each year across two days, from the likes of Airbnb, Vacasa, VTrips and VRMA.

Breezeway’s annual Property Operations Report 2021, 2022 and 2023 achieved hundreds of downloads and garnered media attention from recognized industry press outlets including Short Term Rentalz, Skift and Phocuswire. Both campaigns helped 2021 become the Year of Operations for Breezeway, securing its spokespeople as thought leaders in the likes of VRMA Arrival, VRM Intel, Phocuswire, Washington Post and the New York Times. In 2022, Breezeway, won the Supplier of Year Award at the Vacation Rental Management Association’s annual awards.
