Boostly offers online training, WordPress website design, content creation and CPD-accredited marketing services to thousands of hospitality businesses worldwide. Founded in 2016 by industry influencer Mark Simpson, Boostly helps property owners and managers cut down their over-reliance on online travel agents by providing them with the tools, tactics and training to boost their direct bookings and profits.
Boostly came to Abode Worldwide in September 2022, with the mission to deepen its presence and reputation in the short term rental sector and create awareness in new markets to support sales activities. Boostly had one overarching goal that would shape our strategy: to help one million hosts cut down their reliance on OTAs like Airbnb. While taking on the larger OTAs could be seen to be a PR challenge, we saw it as an opportunity to communicate Boostly’s unique offerings and close a gap in the market.
The Abode team worked with Boostly to develop a public relations strategy that supported its vision for growth across the sector. In addition to securing regular thought leadership bylines and speaking opportunities, Abode supported Boostly on a number of campaigns and announcements, including the book launch of ‘The Book Direct Blueprint’ and a financial milestone announcement.
Abode communicated a huge financial milestone for Boostly last year ($3m in direct bookings).
This year, Boostly has been nominated for two Shortyz Awards (Best Web and App Solution and Innovator/Disruptor) and for the first time, has announced its presence in new market Australia – a PR campaign that saw a partnership being transformed into a newsworthy announcement for Australian press.
