Our story
Jessica Gillingham is our Founder and CEO, an entrepreneur and industry commentator with a strong vision for how technology will transform the future of hospitality and living. From her initial venture, the launch of a vacation rental booking platform, to an award-winning career in hospitality technology public relations, Jessica has become an established name in the hospitality and serviced living sectors.
Jessica launched Abode in 2017 to provide specialist, sector-specific strategic public relations and raise the profiles of tech innovators in this exciting and fast-moving space.
Jessica believes that property operators, whether hotels, short-term rentals, multifamily buildings, student lodging, later living communities, or serviced apartments, must transition from traditional management — focusing on providing spaces — to adopting a true hospitality mindset; a mindset that is all about serving residents and guests.
